Works Operative

Forde Recruitment, the leading provider of industrial workers within South Yorkshire, are currently seeking an experienced and reliable Works Operative for our client based in S6.

Works Operative Main Responsibilities/Duties:

•  Full responsibility for setting, operation and practice of health and safety regulations with regards to any machines and tools used in the working environment.
•  To maintain standards of efficiency and quality.
•  To maintain a clean and obstruction free working environment. This includes emptying bins, hopper, and sweeping floors, relocating stock and finished goods.
•  To provide assistance for all manufacturing activities.
•  To interpret and utilise works production paperwork.
•  The general maintenance of machines used in case manufacture.
•  To meet the requirements of ISO 9001 and ISO 14001
•  To conserve power where possible.
•  To practice security procedures within the works.
•  To work efficiently and effectively under own initiative.

Working Hours:

Monday - Thursday - 07:00 - 15:30

Friday - 07:00 - 14:30

Salary:

£12.50 per hour
